Tobias Coring is one of the key figures in the development of the modern aquascaping scene in Germany and Europe. In 2006, he founded Flowgrow.de, one of the first and most influential German-speaking online communities dedicated to aquascaping, aquatic plants, and planted aquariums. Through Flowgrow, he helped introduce and establish the Nature Aquarium philosophy and created a central platform for education, inspiration, and knowledge exchange within the hobby.

In 2007, Tobias founded Aquasabi, a company specializing in products for aquascaping and planted aquariums. Under his leadership, Aquasabi became one of Europe’s best-known aquascaping retailers and introduced numerous international brands and innovative products to the European market. He also launched the fertilizer brand Aqua Rebell, which significantly influenced modern planted aquarium fertilization in Germany and beyond.

Over the years, Tobias has actively supported the growth of the international aquascaping community through educational content, forum discussions, and industry collaborations. His long-standing experience, deep technical understanding of planted aquariums, and contribution to the European aquascaping movement make him a highly respected judge in international aquascaping competitions.
