Description
The layout was inspired by a tank at the ADA gallery. It had a classic stone arrangement that I simply liked and wanted to recreate. This layout was using Manten stones and I was able to get ahold of a few Manten stones for my hardscape, too. Their purple color inspired the title. In German "violett" can be used synonym for "purple". But also the flower Violet is represented in the tank by the small bucephalandra species. I have a preference for Iwagumi layouts, so I never considered adding roots. I intentionally created the tank with a lot of open space to emphasize the hardscape. Unlike the the very complex diorama style aquascapes using every inch of a tank(which I also like a lot), my idea was to create a more simplistic and clean layout but with a strong impact. It should be an aquascape to enjoy and spread positivity.
