Description
The paludarium is set up with RO water mineralized with Yokushi at a pH of 6 degrees Celsius. There is no heater, and the water is kept at room temperature. There is no filtration, just a pump to pump the water upwards. The substrate serves as a filter due to the small target fish population, which will consist of albino topaz blue guppies. The paludarium is set up in a low-tech style to require as little maintenance as possible from the aquarist. Fertilization is 1 to 3 drops of Yokushi Gen X fertilizer per day and nothing else. No CO2 fertilization. The lamp is smartphone-controlled and fully programmable. The Invital substrate is not rich in nutrients but perfectly stabilizes water parameters. The pH in the paludarium is constantly maintained at 6.5. Yokushi fertilizer capsules are used in the substrate.
