Description
The idea behind my aquascape "Angel Wave" was to create a reel nature aquarium with a touch of a biotope look. I wanted a scape where I can keep bigger fish like the angel fish. So I created a lot of negative space for the fish. For the background I used the Cyperus helferi combined with the the other grassy plants like Juncus repens, Blyxa japonica and Eleocharis acicularis 'Mini', to create more depth. The root is only planted on the left side with ferns, Anubias and Bucephalandra to hide the overflow from the filter sump. The focus point is the red Nymphaea lotus.
