The scape is inspired by the shore zone of an overgrown pond. The tank stands in a corner of the room and offers a great view from the front and from the side. The scape has been in place for exactly three months now. It's not perfect yet, as I'm still experimenting with microfertilizer, but it's developing. I hope that the lotus (back right) will form floating leaves and break up the “negative space” a little.
