This Tank was scaped a year ago for a Halfmoon Blue Betta that I have always wanted. The tank was started off with an extremely fertile substrate using simple hardscape to create an island style composition. My goal was to include simple and easy to grow plants so that no CO2 was necessary to nurture growth of the greenery, creating a natural effect. The original scape has been modified multiple times, always keeping in mind to keep it as a comfortable and natural habitat for a betta fish.
For the EAPLC 2025 I decided to rescape the tank by adding another variety of plants to bring out more depth and colour throughout the landscape and create a lush underwater world.
