Description
生き甲斐 Ikigai, The road of the forest

The term "生き甲斐" "ikigai" comes from Japanese culture and is made up of two words: "iki", which means "life" or "being alive", and "gai", which translates as "value" or "reason". ". Collectively, "ikigai" refers to "the reason for being" or "the reason for living".
The ikigai philosophy focuses on finding a purpose in life and discovering what motivates us, gives us satisfaction and gives us meaning. It's a combination of what we love, what we're good at, what the world needs, and what we can get rewarded for doing. Ikigai is located at the meeting point of these four elements, creating balance and harmony in a person's life.
When you immerse yourself in the practice of aquascaping, you find a refuge to escape from your problems and anxieties. It's like the world falls asleep around you, giving you the chance to focus on one thing: creating an aquascape that reflects your vision and your emotions. At this moment, you experience an inner balance, a balance in your being, and a satisfaction that makes you feel truly alive.
The paths that you create between the five glass walls of your aquarium represent your mission, your path in life and the way in which you integrate into existence. As in the ikigai philosophy, you seek to find that point of convergence between what you love, what you are good at, what the world needs, and what provides you with personal rewards.
By creating paths in your aquarium, you seek to establish harmony and balance in the aquatic space. As in life, you strive to integrate into your environment without disturbing anyone or anything, respecting nature and the interactions between the elements that make up your aquarium.
The practice of aquascaping then becomes a bridge to your ikigai. In that moment, you are fully immersed in your passion, using your skills and talents to create something beautiful and meaningful. At the same time, you satisfy your need for escape and tranquility, finding inner balance and a sense of wholeness.
Through aquascaping, you discover that ikigai is not limited to a career or a single purpose, but can manifest in different aspects of your life. It gives you the opportunity to explore and express your true essence, find meaning in your existence, and experience moments of profound meaning.
When dawn brings with it the first rays of light, the end of the road can be glimpsed in the distance.

I think that the shadows are overly dark in this tank, obscuring some details. Could have lighted up parts of the aquascape more during the photo taking session.
